In 2005, Stelios Salvador and the Babies in Fire continued to grow. Now on his own label (Baby records), they released “Sto dromo” with a renewed, modern sound and a clearly more extroverted character than their previous works. Although 20 years had passed since their foundation, Salvador’s poetry was always present and haunted all their songs in its unique way.
But some of them were not new compositions. Like “Adrenalini”, written in the late 80s, which after several adventures, returned to where it always belonged. But not only that, since songs such as “Tatouaz”, “Ta Eidola”, “Hartina louloudia”, “Apotichemeno paidi” are highlights in the band’s almost 40-year discography.
Labyrinth of Thoughts is re-releasing “Sto dromo” in 330 numbered copies of 150gr vinyl, in green. It includes a bonus track, the eight-minute masterpiece “Koita me ta matia tis kardias”, written as a composition by Salvador in 1988, in a studio recording in February 2013, which for various reasons had not been included in the band’s discography until now.
